Getting everything in order

Before we can begin working together there are a few straightforward checks we need to complete, standard practice for any regulated accountancy firm. We keep this as simple and painless as possible, and we’ll guide you through exactly what’s needed. It usually takes no more than a few minutes of your time.

We handle the switch

If you’re moving from another accountant, we take care of everything. We contact your previous firm, request your records, and make sure nothing falls through the gaps. You don’t need to have any awkward conversations or chase anyone, that’s our job. Most clients tell us this part is far easier than they expected.

Your kick-start session

This is a private, unhurried conversation, just you and your Fresh Clarity contact. No agenda, no paperwork. We want to understand you as a person, not just your business, what you’re trying to build, what keeps you up at night, and what a good outcome actually looks like for you. Everything that follows is shaped by this conversation.

Your business diagnostic

Before we settle into a routine, we do a thorough review of where things actually stand. We look at your financial data, your systems, your compliance position, and how confident you currently feel about your numbers. You get a written report with a clear picture of where you are and what we’re going to focus on first. This becomes the foundation for everything we do together going forward.

After the diagnostic

Once the diagnostic is done, your package is live, your systems are set up, and you know exactly what to expect from us — including who to contact, when to expect to hear from us, and what we’re taking off your plate. From here, we get to work.

Once you’re up and running, the relationship looks different from what most people are used to with an accountant. You hear from us before you need to chase. Deadlines are handled before you remember they exist. And when something changes in your business, or in tax legislation, we tell you what it means for you, in plain English, before it becomes a problem.
